Chuckwagon Suppers and Shows
Looking for reasonably priced, outstanding dining and entertainment on a summer Saturday night? Look no further! Wildlife West Nature Park, holds a chuckwagon supper every Saturday night during summer.
This year's Chuckwagon Suppers included appearances by Holy Water & Whiskey, Sons of the Rio Grande, and George Bullfrog and the Turquoise Trailers. Check back often for our 2012 lineup!
The suppers include a traditional chuckwagon show, including a barbecue dinner, wildlife presentation, our unique falcon show, plus a western music show or bluegrass band. The barbeque dinner includes brisket, chicken, ranch beans, baked potato, rolls, apple sauce, cookies, lemonade, coffee, and water. A vegetarian option, substituting a tasty salad for the brisket and chicken, is also available. Shows take place rain or shine in our all-weather amphitheater. New Mexico can get cool after sunset, so make sure to bring a jacket or other warm garments! Join us for dinner and music at one of central New Mexico's most enjoyable attractions, just 20 minutes east of Albuquerque in Edgewood! The park is open to chuckwagon guests at 5:30; the falcon show begins at 6:00; hayrides run from 6:00 to 7:00; and dinner is served at 7:00. The music starts approximately 8:00 and usually runs for about an hour.
