Junior Zookeepers Summer Day Camp2011 Session Dates: June 13th through June 17th and June 27th through July 1stJunior Zookeepers Day Camp is an exciting program that offers children ages 8-12 the opportunity to experience what our animal keepers do on a day to day basis. Learn basic biology, interact with animals, make toys for them, and have fun behind the scenes with zookeepers at Wildlife West! Spend a week learning about New Mexico’s native plants and animals this summer. Learn about the care and basic biology of native plants and animals with the experienced zookeepers at the 122 acre Wildlife West Nature Park. This five day, 9:00am to 12:00pm, day camp program covers everything from zoo-keeping and bird-watching techniques, to animal enrichment projects. Snacks are included.
